POUND
Pound started in 2008 in Missoula, MT with no desire to be a band or to record.
The original intention of the duo was to improve on their instruments though the exploration of different aspects of heavy music, making music purely for the sake of making music.
Unwillingly provoked into playing house shows, Pound became a live band later that year. 10 years and a move to Seattle, WA later, Pound is thriving as a truly unique musical force.
Utilizing a 9 string baritone guitar and two drums kits at a 90-degree angle, Pound blends mathcore, grind, dbeat, grind, prog and sludge to create a new sound that is theirs alone.
